Are LED panel accessories compatible with all LED panel types?

Most of our LED panel accessories are sized to standard panel dimensions such as 600x600mm and 1200x300mm, so compatibility depends on matching the accessory to your panel size. Always check the panel dimensions and driver specification before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

When should I use a suspension wire kit?

Use a suspension wire kit when you need to hang LED panels from a solid or open ceiling where surface or recessed mounting is not suitable. They are ideal for warehouses, sports halls and spaces with high or exposed ceilings where panels need to sit at a set drop height.

Do LED panel accessories affect LED light output?

No, accessories such as mounting kits and suspension wires do not change the lumen output of the panel itself. However, mounting height and positioning will affect how light is distributed across the space, which our design support team can help you plan.

What’s the difference between a surface mounted and suspended LED panel?

A surface-mounted panel sits flush against the ceiling using a surface mount kit, while a suspended panel hangs below the ceiling on wires or rods. Surface mounting suits solid ceilings without a void, whereas suspension suits open, high or exposed ceilings.

Do surface mount kits have space for LED drivers?

Yes, most of our surface mount kits include space within the frame to house the LED driver neatly above the panel. This keeps the driver concealed and protected while maintaining a clean, finished appearance.

When should I use a surface mount kit?

Use a surface mount kit when there is no ceiling void for recessed installation, such as on concrete or plasterboard ceilings. It is the simplest way to fix a panel directly to the ceiling surface while keeping the driver housed within the frame.
