Standard LED bulkhead lights are surface-mounted directly onto walls or ceilings, with cabling fed through the base plate before fixing and connecting to the mains supply.

We don’t carry out installation ourselves, so we recommend using a qualified electrician to ensure safe, compliant fitting.

How long do standard LED bulkhead lights last?

Most standard LED bulkhead lights last between 30,000 and 50,000 hours, equating to several years of continuous use before replacement. The exact lifespan depends on the model, operating environment and how frequently the fitting is used.
