LED emergency microwave bulkheads typically last between 50,000 and 70,000 hours, often more than a decade in normal use. The integrated microwave sensor and emergency battery are designed to match this lifespan, reducing maintenance across the fitting’s life.

What is the installation process for LED emergency microwave bulkheads?

Installation is carried out by a qualified electrician, who mounts the fitting to mains power and commissions the emergency battery and microwave sensor. We supply the products and design guidance only, so we do not carry out installation ourselves.
