The best classroom lighting is a low-glare LED panel or recessed fitting with a UGR of 19 or lower, a colour temperature around 4000K, high CRI and flicker-free drivers. This gives comfortable, even light that suits both screens and paper-based work. Dimmable or tunable fittings add flexibility for lessons, presentations and exams, and separate control of the teaching wall keeps the whiteboard clearly lit.
